The Medium Duty Industrial series shredders, with their twenty inch wide input conveyor, consists of the AMS-1500, AMS-2000, AMS-2500, AMS-3000, and AMS-4000 models. Using ten and three-quarter inch diameter cutters, these models range from fifteen to forty horsepower and will realistically shred one to three tons of material per hour. - Precision ground, A-2 tool steel cutters with a positive saw-tooth grip will shred not only paper but corrugated boxes, credit cards, transparencies, etc. An optional automatic cutter head lubrication system is available.
- Aluminum bronze wear pads keep the cutters from riding into the side plates of the shredder and can be field adjusted to maintain tolerances and maximize shredding.
- Heat treated spur gears with a full 4-1/2" face provide effective transfer of power to the cutters.
- Oil bath lubrication eliminates the need for manual greasing.
